The Mechanobiology Research Center is delighted to announce its partecipation at the Mechanobionic symposium “Mechanobiology across scales”. Within the thematic semester “Mechanobionic” concerning mechanobiology at the Université of Côte d’Azur, this program aims to unite both junior and senior researchers across diverse disciplines such as physics, biology, mathematics, computer science, and engineering.
As a representative of the Center, prof. Alberto Salvadori presented its work “Actin based motility unveiled: how chemical energy is converted into motion”; carried out in collaboration with C. Bonanno and M. Serpelloni (Mechanobiology Research Center, UNIBS), and R. McMeeking (Materials and Mechanical Engineering Department, UCSB, CA).
